Yesterday, my family, and 2 other retired couples that are staying at our bed and breakfast in Beijing, (one couple from Australia, and one couple from Texas) went to visit the Great wall of China together. The excursion was organized by Nick and Cindy the owners of the bed and breakfast. Cindy is a lovely Chinese woman, with long black hair. Nick, is from Greece and he is a big joker, he can make anybody laugh, anytime. Anyway, while we were hiking the steep steps and slippery slopes of the Great Wall of China. I made up short rhyming poem about the Wall.
The Great Wall
Welcome all!
Welcome all!
Welcome to the Great Wall!
Wether you walk or crawl,
Just don't fall,
The wall is VERY tall...
This wall,
is not a mall,
There is no bathroom stall.
Do not haul
A basket ball
Up the wall,
It might fall!
On the wall,
You look so small,
Like a doll!
If you call,
From the wall,
They will hear you in Nepal!
So goodbye ya'll!
And peace to all,
From the top of the Great China Wall!
The Great Wall
